Flavored THC Powder Found in Over-the-Counter Stores

Did you know that flavored THC powder is now being sold outside of dispensaries — in some cases, right over the counter in convenience and liquor stores? This photo was taken in a liquor store in the Midwest, showing just how accessible these products are becoming.

So, what can someone do with THC powder? Just about anything. It can be mixed into soft drinks, water, alcohol, spaghetti sauce, pudding, sandwiches — even sprinkled onto a slice of pizza. These powders are easily concealed, making them nearly undetectable once added to food or drink.

This is just one example of the many new THC-infused products rapidly hitting the open market. Awareness and education are key to staying ahead of these trends.

After your presentation a couple weeks ago I have become more aware of what caseload of probationers are wearing. Just the beginning of this week a new probationer came in, admitted to smoking weed prior to sentencing, so that was my first flag. But was also wearing a sweatshirt that had “TrapLord” on it. I googled it later and found the urban dictionary term being consistent with being a “weed dealer”. Again, without the training you provided for us just a couple weeks ago I am not sure I would have even caught that. Thanks.
