The first time I was able to see and hear the presentation from Jermaine Galloway was at theNational DRE Conference in Seattle, Washington the summer of 2012. The presentation wastwo hours long and during that time I was writing and listening and telling myself that I had toremember every item that Officer Galloway was talking about. I had never in my entire lawenforcement career had a speaker open my mind like Galloway did. He had me looking indirections that I had no idea that even existed. I had often wondered about the connection ofhow the word spread about drugs and alcohol and the games that go with both without the lawenforcement community hearing about it. I left that presentation wanting more. After thepresentation I talked to Officer Galloway and had him give me his contact information andbrought it back to Iowa and had my office put him in as a quest speaker for our Governor’sTraffic Safety Bureaus state conference in March of 2013. We gave him four hours for hispresentation and believe me he was worth the time. I sat and watched sheriffs that have beenin office for twenty years taking notes. He held the attention of the 250 participants the entirefour hours. That alone tells you the caliber of speaker and information that is being passedalong. Officer Galloway is by far the best presenter that I have seen in my career and that has aspan of over thirty years.  I would go back and listen to him again in a heartbeat. We also hadcivilians at the conference also and they were just has impressed with him as the lawenforcement officers were. The presentation and material that he talks about can apply to allfacets of the public. This is information that all parents, school teachers and counselors, nurses, and anyone that work with our younger people should know and be aware of. I cannot sayenough good things about this man and the content that he presents. It is well worth your timeto see him speak.
